NO BULLETS FLY BY SABATON

NO BULLETS FLY BY SABATON

This is a music video commemorating the Charlie Brown and Franz Stigler incident. It tells us about the honor of the flying aces who ruled the skies during WW2. Following are the lyrics of the famed song:

From down below one enemy’s spotted
So hurry up, rearm and refuel
But through the bomber’s damaged air frame
See wounded men scattered and burned
Look to the right and then look again
And see the enemy in the eye
No bullets fly, spared by his mercy
Escorted out, out of harm’s way
Fly, fighting fair
It’s the code of the air
Brothers, heroes, foes
Killing machine, thunder in the sky
B-17, flying home
Killing machine
Said goodbye to the cross he deserved
He risked his life two times that day
To save an unknown enemy
Escort to safety, out of the killzone
A short salute, then departed
Fly, fighting fair
It’s the code of the air
Brothers, heroes, foes
Killing machine, thunder in the sky
B-17, flying home
Killing machine
Said goodbye to the cross he deserved
Fly, fighting fair
It’s the code of the air
Brothers, heroes, foes
Killing machine, thunder in the sky
B-17, flying home
Killing machine
Said goodbye to the cross he deserved

STALINGRAD BY SABATON

This video contains a song named “Stalingrad” by Sabaton. It portrays the event of the battle of Stalingrad when Russian forces pushed back the Nazis and took back the city of Stalingrad. Following are the Lyrics:

Fresh from Moscow
Over Volga came to comrades aid
City in despair
Almost crushed by the Führer’s army
Oh, it’s colder than Hell
Hitler’s forces advancing
The sound of the mortars
The music of death
A grand symphony
See your friends fall hear them
Pray to the god your country denies
Every man dies alone and when your
Time comes you will know that it’s time
Stalins fortress on fire
Is this madness or Hell
The sound of the mortars
The music of death
We’re playing the devil’s symphony
Our violins are guns conducted from Hell
Oh Stalingrad
Mratnimiat
Are you playing?
Do you follow the conductors lead?
No one knows you
No one cares about a single violin
Play the score of the damned
Know the devil within

Sabaton: Resist And Bite

The story of the Chasseurs Ardennais, whose emblem is the wild boar. A small Belgian unit of soldiers who were supposed to defend the borders and hold their ground along the K-W Line in May 1940. When the German armies, which included Rommel’s Ghost Division, approached the unit, they were supposed to retreat but due to communication failure the order never reached them. Instead they honored their original orders, which were to defend the border at all cost. They fought so bravely and on such a large front, that they tricked the axis into believing that they were facing a force much larger than 40 rifles strong. When finally they were captured and their captors asked them -”Where are the others?” they simply laughed and answered. -”There are no others, we are all!”. The song gets its title from their motto Resiste Et Mords, in English, Resist and Bite.
